Description
Provides supervisory expertise in the management of food service and personnel in the Seasons Cafe. Actively participates in an outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. Responsible for Cafe services to assure that the Front of the House Team provide guests with a World Class Experience. To train and encourage staff to practice the ?S.H.A.R.E. Service.?. To welcome and assist guests with information and directions during major serving time. To encourage input and do surveys. To assist Chef Manager, in maintaining a vibrant and creative menu. Purchases retail and boutique merchandise. Assists with maintaining displays and promotions. Actively assists with demos and samples to guests. Assists with production, special functions or patient trays line as needed. Skills in orientation, training, scheduling cost containment, efficiency and performance appraisals. Provides honest feedback, discipline and praise. Reconciles cash drawers, takes care of deposits, volume and revenue reports. Ensures proper billing and interdepartmental charging. Inspects and insures compliance with sanitation and cleanliness guidelines. Monitors inventory levels, food waste and operational efficiencies. Is an example in treating customers and staff with professionalism, respect and kindness. Must have computer knowledge. Maintains a good rapport with hospital departments.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
Must speak, read and write English. Must have neat and legible handwriting. Must demonstrate basic computer skills and the ability to communicate effectively. Must demonstrate mathematical skills essential to job duties.

- Computer knowledge, Excel, Word, CBORD
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Culinary school or restaurant management graduate or equivalent.
- Two years experience
- Bilingual - desirable
