Dharmakaya Aikido is the urban application of aikido techniques in urbanized situations of physical conflict. Defensive techniques against a multitude of attacks and/or attackers will be introduced along with the basics of Ukemi (falling and rolling), Tegatana No Kata (walking kata), Hanasu No Kata (kata of wrist releases) and the Gojusan Hon Kata (the 26 basic techniques of projection and immobilization). This practice may be viewed as "Hard Aikido" or "Street Aikido" because of its philosophical position on practical application.
